What If There Were No Reflections

Reflections are in anything with a shiny surface. The obvious being a mirror, but also windows, 'off' laptop/TV screens, spoons, glass/es, crockery, puddles, lakes, streams...

Reflection is a way to create light, as light bounces off reflective surfaces, so without reflective surfaces, the world would be considerably darker.
However also without reflection we would be without vanity, there would be no competition. There would be no makeup, there would be no worry as to what you look like. You would be as you are meant to be, people would like you for you. Beauty would be natural.
Without reflections would be less paranoia, no beauty columns in magazine, no time spent applying layers and layers of makeup, looks would be unimportant.

There would be other priorities. People would be more selfless. What we look like would just be an unconsidered part of life. Who were are is what would be important.
