The start of my inspiration came from this image of a recipe above.
Its taken from the bbc goodfood website.
Its a jar containing the dry ingredients for a muffin mix, which can then be given to someone as a gift, so they can make some muffins.
You then need to attach instructions so that the receiver of the gift knows what to do with it...
Write the following method on a gift label: 'Tip the contents of the jar into a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and add 2 beaten eggs, 300ml/½pt milk and 100g/4oz melted butter. Mix quickly and lightly to a soft batter. Divide between 12 muffin cases. Bake at 190C/fan 170C/gas 5 for 18-20 mins. Use within 4 weeks.' Attach the label and a wooden spoon to the top of the jar with some raffia or coloured ribbon.
I thought this idea was a brilliant start for an initial idea for my project.
a. Baking something yummy creates warmth in itself..
b. It creates a warming ambiance from the smell of it cooking.
c. Giving homemade baked goods as a gift to someone is a warming gesture.
So... How can I take this initial concept on into a new way?

These are some illustrated instructions as to how to make the cake with the dry ingredients, which would appear on the label attached to the jar.
